Every year, students work tirelessly to achieve in academics, athletics and other areas of development. These efforts have not gone unnoticed by the staff at Shawnee High School, and it has been a tradition that a teacher will nominate a specific student that they have seen exceed the expectations that they have set for them. This year, Shawnee High School’s teaching staff is proud to recognize 34 individuals for their specific experiences with a select teacher. Whether it’s in the classroom, on the field, attending school events, or giving back to the community, these students are selected for the prestigious people’s choice award.
